Dr. B.R. Veeramani has edited and published nine books and authored thirty-two international research papers focusing on English language and literature. His scholarly interests span postcolonial studies, environmental humanities, and ideological critique. He has successfully guided ten Ph.D. scholars and continues to mentor ten more in diverse areas of English literary research. Dr. B.R. Veeramani is Professor of Languages at Periyar Maniammai Institute of Science & Technology, Thanjavur, with over three decades of experience in higher education and research. He previously served as Associate Professor of English at A.V.V.M. Sri Pushpam College, Poondi, where he mentored generations of students and scholars in literary studies.
Dr. B.R. Veeramani holds a Ph.D. in English Literature from Tamil University, Thanjavur, and has earned degrees from Bishop Heber College, Annamalai University, and St. Joseph's Higher Secondary School, Tiruchirappalli. His research spans postcolonial literature, environmental humanities, ideological critique, and English language pedagogy.
He has authored thirty-two international research papers and edited nine books, contributing significantly to the discourse on literature and cultural transformation. Ten scholars have completed their Ph.D. under his guidance, and ten more are currently pursuing research under his mentorship.
